Dear Alumni,
2024 Columbia Forum was held on Saturday, April 27, at 3:00pm at the Constitutional Court of Korea, and was well attended and supported by many alumni.
The forum, which was attended by 53 alumni, featured an interesting lecture on the topic of "Trials in the World," in which Justice Hyung-du Kim ('01CLS) compared the trial process in Korea with that in other countries. Alumni also had the opportunity to explore and experience various parts of the Court that are not easily accessible to the public, such as the Grand Judgment Hall, the Sky Garden, and the Exhibition Hall.
After the event, we had a great time networking with alumni who hadn't seen each other in a long time. We would like to thank alum Robert Wonsang Yu ('03CBS), CEO of Yuyu Pharma, who sponsored 10 large pizzas (worth 300,000 won) for the alumni during the event. We would also like to thank alum Kijung Ko ('92TC), wife of CAA Korea President Yongho Kim, for sponsoring the entire cost of the after-party (worth 2 million won).
The next official event of the Alumni Association will be <2024 New Student Send-off / New Alumni Welcome > on June 29 (Sat) at 2pm at Yonsei University Baekyang Nuri Hall. We are looking forward to welcoming the freshmen who are leaving for New York in August and welcoming the alumni who graduated in May and are returning to Korea, so please join us.
