The Columbia Year-End-Gala 2024 will be held on Friday, December 6 at Lotte Hotel in Seoul. This year-end party celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Columbia University Alumni Association Korea (CAA Korea) with the best programs and biggest giveaways ever!

A variety of products such as the latest "iPhone 16-PRO", "Galaxy S24-ULTRA" and "Department Store Gift Certificates worth a total of 5 million won" are waiting for you. * Eligibility: 

• Alumni (regular member/associate member), current student, spouse of alumni (alumni's children, friends, acquaintances not allowed to attend)

* Dress Code : Formal or business casual for both men and women

* Registration & Fee 

• Early Bird Regular members (including spouses) and current students KRW 100,000/1 person 10.29 (Tue) ~ 11.11 (Mon) until 11:59pm

• Associate members (including spouse), non-early bird regular members non-early bird current students KRW 130,000 / 1 person 11.12 (Tue) ~ 11.29 (Fri) until 6:00pm

[Precautions]

Event Time: Entrance from 6:00pm / Event starts from 6:30pm / End of event 9:30pm

Access:

(1) Subway: Line 2 Euljiro Station to the first basement floor of LOTTE HOTEL

(2) By car: LOTTE HOTEL valet service (charged) or underground parking lot (free for 5 hours)

Application and Participation Fee

(1) Early bird application: Regular members (those who pay annual fees and those who are exempt from annual fees through sponsorship), regular members' spouses and current students can apply (Associate members cannot apply within the early bird period)

(2) If an associate member (who has not paid the annual fee) would like to apply for the early bird period, the annual membership fee should be paid now. (10,000 won) to qualify as a regular member, and if you apply within the early bird period, you will pay an early bird fee (100,000 won/1 person).

(3) Associate members who have not paid the annual membership fee can apply for the general participation fee (130,000 won/1 person) from November 12 (Tue).

(4) Early bird application and participation fee payment must be done at the same time!! (If you don't deposit same time, early bird discount does applied) 

(5) If you only apply for participation but do not pay the participation fee by 11.29 (Fri), you will be excluded from the final list of event attendees.

(6) No discount for married couples

(7) If you wish to cancel your participation after paying the participation fee, you can do so by 11.29 (Fri) 6pm (one week before the event) If you request cancellation by email, the participation fee will be refunded (no refunds will be given for late cancellations)

(8) On the day of the event, there will be no way to apply and pay for participation on the spot. No exceptions. 

(9) No show! No refund!!

[Table seating arrangement]

(1) The table layout will be determined by the alumni association based on (a) graduation year (within 1~3 years) (b) mix of schools and (c) balanced gender ratio. It is a designated table system, but please sit freely within the designated table. 1 table will sit 10 people.

(2) If you gather 10 alumni who would like to sit together, we will give you a table. Fill out the 10 people's names/school/graduation year and send by email to the alumni association to request a table

6:00-6:30pm: Registration + Payment Confirmation / Name Tag / Raffle Ticket / Entrance 

6:30-7:00pm: Part 1 Alumni Association General Meeting

7:00-8:00pm: Dinner (30 different types of food buffet and wine)

8:00-9:00pm: Part 2 Alumni Association 70th Anniversary Ceremony & Event / Columbia Quiz & Game / Raffle (including Grand Prize) 

9:00-9:30pm: Closing remarks, announcements, group photos
